Howgill - Windermere

The room was spacious and extremely cozy, it even had thoughtful touches like washing up liquid.

We had a really great stay in Windermere short walk to the train station, lake and high street, the Lake District and Windermere.

Everything was great, me and my family members greatly enjoyed the stay. The location of the apartment was marvellous and fab near to supermarkets. It was adjacent to railway station, all the attractions and the centre of town. When it was cold outside I found nice Brambles Coffee & Bar, had some coffee there.

We had a fantastic holiday enjoying the beautiful and peaceful location of this place.

It was located in a great area to The Lakes.

Spacious and clean apartment with all the amenities we needed. Great location close to shops, restaurants, and beautiful walks nearby. Secure parking space at the rear of the property was a bonus.

Some windows were difficult to close and the sofas were a bit uncomfortable. It would have been helpful to have hooks on the back of the bathroom door for towels and clothing.

Great location near the lake and surrounded by cozy cafes. 🌿 it was a really nice experience here.

our recent stay in windermere was amazing. exploring the lake district on foot was a treat, and howgill made it even better. the owner, john, was so genuine and helpful. the apartment was spacious with everything we needed, and the beds were incredibly comfy. it truly felt like a home away from home. highly recommended!

I had a fantastic stay in a lovely apartment with a comfortable double bed, situated in a beautiful hillside location.

cosy apartment, well equipped and dog friendly. Great location, amazing views of Windermere lake. Friendly owner, secure and peaceful. Health club access a bonus. Worth the stay.

Bathroom needs hooks for clothes.

The location of this place is fantastic, close to shops and restaurants, with all the necessary amenities including a microwave, electric kettle, and fridges.

The location of the hotel was excellent, with local shops, supermarkets, and the train station all within walking distance. This made it really convenient for me during my business trip. Additionally, the hotel had secure parking, which was great for peace of mind. I also appreciated the spaciousness of the accommodations, with multiple bedrooms and a large lounge area.

One small downside was that the sofas in the hotel were a bit tired and difficult for someone with arthritis to get up from. It would've been nice if there were some hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes as well.

The rooms at this venue have been designed with great attention to detail and feature comfortable double beds. It benefits from an amazing location just 1 km away from the Lakes Christian Centre.

John, the owner, welcomed us warmly and provided us with all the necessary information. the apartment was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space and comfy furniture. We loved the well-equipped kitchen and the convenience of a washing machine. the designated parking space at the rear of the property was a bonus. the location was excellent, with shops, restaurants, cafes, and lovely walks nearby. Plus, it was a great base for exploring the Lakes District with easy access to other interesting spots by car. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like. 😊.

The host was always available, and it was in a quiet location, just off the railway station and buses, and close to the Lake District.
